4th Grade expectations
Every student has a right to learn and be in a safe learning environment. Our classroom and school rules will support this right. In our classrooms, the students' behavior will be tracked through the use of monthly punch cards. Thank you in advance for your support.
4th Grade Classroom Rules:
1. Listen when others are talking
2. Follow directions
3. Keep hands, feet, and objects to yourself
4. Work quietly and do not disturb others
5. Show respect for school and personal property
6. Work and play in a safe manner
Homework and Class Work Consequences
Students who come in with their assignment book signed by their guardian and ALL homework complete, will put a sticker on the Agenda and Homework All Stars chart. If the students are missing no more than 2 stickers for the 9 weeks, they will participate in an electronics party in the classroom at the end of each 9 weeks. Students who do not have their assignment book signed and homework completed will not receive a sticker on the chart and will not participate in the end of the 9 weeks electronic party.
All ELA assignments must be completed before lunch or the students will need to stay in at recess to finish. they will be able to go to recess after the work is completed neatly and accurately.4th graders are expected to utilize their time wisely.
Individual consequences will be apart of our classroom plan. This will help determine if behaviors follow a pattern, and will hold students accountable for their individual behaviors. This plan is as follows:
Consequences will run from recess to recess each day.
First Offense: Verbal Warning One
Second Offense: Verbal Warning two
Third: Punch in Behavior Punch Card and 15 minute recess detention in the classroom (Missing Homework results in 15 minute recess detention only_
Fourth: Punch in Behavior punch Card and 30 minute recess detention in the classroom and parent note sent home
Fifth: Principal's office, punch in Behavior Punch Card and 30 minute recess detention
Severe Disruption: Principal's office, punch in Behavior Punch Card and 30 minute recess detention
